Barbara Morales, Administrator In 2006, Mrs. Barbara Morales joined CarePlus Health Plans, as Supervisor of the Provider Credentialing Department. She focused on quality assurance and regulatory compliance to meet federal and state guidelines and ensure the accreditation of individual facilities. She has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry ranging from hospital to orthopedic services. In 2009, Mrs. Morales joined the CAC-Florida Medical Centers as an Assistant Administrator, shortly thereafter she was promoted to a Floater Administrator and CAC’s Medical Records Custodian. She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Professional Management, and currently is working towards an MBA at Nova Southeastern University.

Idalmis Santana-Porben, M.D., F.A.A.P., Medical Director Family Medicine Dr. Santana-Porben received her degree in medicine from the Institute of Higher Studies of Medical Sciences of Havana in Havana, Cuba. She completed her internship and family medicine residency at Universidad Central del Caribe University Hospital in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Prior to joining the CAC-Florida Medical Centers in 2004, Dr. Santana-Porben worked for the Health Department of Puerto Rico in family medicine and as an emergency room attending physician at the San Pablo and Regional University Hospitals in Bayamon. She is the Medical Director of the Homestead CAC-Florida Medical Center. Dr. Santana-Porben is board certified in family medicine.
