Lourdes Petisco, Administrator
Ms. Petisco joined CAC-Florida Medical Centers in 2009 as a floater administrator. Her work experience spans 12 years in renowned South Florida health systems, which include Mercy Hospital and Jackson Health System. While at Mercy Hospital, Ms. Petisco held roles in patient accounts, case management, and leadership positions in registration and scheduling for the outpatient center. Ms. Petisco was named team lead and played an integral role in implementing the Meditech system, Mercy Hospital’s electronic health record; where she succeeded in managing the organization’s roll out and training of Meditech’s scheduling and registration modules. As a Corporate Compliance Program Manager for Jackson Health System, Ms. Petisco was responsible for the implementation of a system wide compliance audit plan and educational program; training over 12,000 employees annually.
In conjunction with these achievements, Ms. Petisco attained a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Florida International University.
Ms. Petisco is committed to the communities CAC-Florida Medical Centers serve. Thus, her educational and professional accomplishments have culminated to her current post as administrator of the Kendall CAC-Florida Medical Center.

Emilio De Quesada, Jr., M.D., Medical Director Family Medicine
Dr. De Quesada received his medical degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Superior Institute of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Joaquin Albarran School Hospital in Havana and a residency in family medicine at HURRA/Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Dr. De Quesada joined the CAC-Florida Medical Centers in 2005. Prior to that, he was in private practice in Hialeah, Florida and in Puerto Rico. He has also held academic appointments as Instructor with the Department of Family Medicine at Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, and Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the Finlay-Albarran Hospital in Havana.
Dr. De Quesada was honored as a Distinguished Foreign Professor from 1985 to 1986 at the Davila-Bolanos Military Hospital in Managua, Nicaragua. Dr. De Quesada is currently the Medical Director of the Kendall CAC-Florida Medical Center. He is board certified in family medicine. |
