ALFREDO GONZALEZ-VERGARA, M.D.
Family Medicine
Dr. Gonzalez-Vergara received his degree in Medicine with high honors,(Cum Laude), from the Higher Institute of Medical Science of Villa Clara, Santa Clara, Cuba. He completed a Residency in Pediatric-Hematology at the Jose Luis Miranda Children Hospital, Santa Clara, Cuba. Dr. Gonzalez-Vergara completed three years of Family Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas.
Dr. Gonzalez-Vergara has over 15 years of experience; he also participated in research projects such as Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Childhood Lymphoma. He is also member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Gonzalez-Vergara sees patients at the East Hialeah CAC-Florida Medical Center. |
