LUIS R. CABRERA, M.D.
Family Medicine
Dr. Cabrera received his degree in medicine from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Dr. Cabrera joined the CAC-Florida Medical Centers in 2003. He is currently the Medical Director of the South Dade CAC-Florida Medical Center. Prior to joining CAC, he was a clinician in private practice in Union City, New Jersey. He also served as Supervisor of Emergency Services at Citrus Health Network.
Dr. Cabrera has received awards from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine as both Resident Teacher and Outstanding Resident. Dr. Cabrera currently is the Medical Director of the South Dade CAC-Florida Medical Center. |
