MILDRED ORTIZ-VEGA, M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Ortiz-Vega obtained her degree in Medicine from la Universidad Central del Caribe, San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Ortiz-Vega is an Internal Medicine physician who completed her residency in the Veteran Hospital Medical Science Campus, University of Puerto Rico, San Juan, Puerto Rico. In addition to her Internal Medicine Residency, Dr. Ortiz-Vega also completed a Primary Care Fellowship.
Dr. Ortiz –Vega served as an Associate Professor of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine during1997-2004. Her professional level of experience range from patient care as an Internal Medicine Doctor, a Primary Care Physician and an Assistant Professor of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
She is an active member of the American Medical Association and has participated in multi research studies such as “Prevalence of Metabolic Bone Disease in Veterans Geriatric Population and interventions to prevent fractures” and “Hormonal effect in vitro vegetal cell culture: Tobacco Species”.
Dr. Ortiz-Vega currently sees patients at South Dade CAC-Florida Medical Center. |
