NCQA
At CAC-Florida Medical Centers, taking care of your health is our number one priority. That's why we are so proud to be the first Medical Group in South Florida* to have been awarded three-year Recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association Diabetes Recognition Program.
NCQA is an independent organization that reviews and reports on the quality of health care organizations. The NCQA seal is a recognized symbol of quality that shows an organization is well-managed and provides high quality care and service.
NCQA recognizes the important role physicians play in promoting health care quality. NCQA developed Physician Recognition Programs to help physicians support the delivery of high-quality care.
NCQA, in partnership with the American Diabetes Association, developed the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program to recognize physicians who have met standards that show that high-quality care was provided to patients with diabetes. Physicians who receive DPRP Recognition show their patients and other doctors in the Diabetes community that they are part of a special group that is publicly recognized for its skill in providing the best diabetes care. “Physicians who earn recognition through the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program have an established track record of providing excellent diabetes care,” said John Buse, M.D., PhD, President, Medicine & Science, American Diabetes Association. “The List of recognized doctors is the first place to look if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with diabetes.”
This recognition is a magnificent honor for CAC-Florida Medical Centers. We are extremely proud of the quality of care that our physicians and clinical staff provide and the dedication shown to our patients.
