IVAN DEL RIO, M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Del Rio received his degree in medicine from the Universidad Central Del Este in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. He completed a sub-internship at the Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, where he was also Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Dr. Del Rio completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Prior to joining the CAC-Florida Medical Centers in 2002, Dr. Del Rio was in private practice in Miami, Florida. Dr. Del Rio is currently the Medical Director at the Westchester CAC-Florida Medical Center.
Dr. Del Rio is a Diplomate, American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association and an associate member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Del Rio is the 1993 Recipient of the Norris L. Brookens Memorial Award for exemplary dedication to the medical profession. |
